Fresh Water Pearl Necklace

I decided to spend a little more money on jewelry this time, since I wanted something that really lasted and was looking for some quality pieces. Unfortunately this wasn‘t it. The fresh water pearl necklace turned yellow, even though I only wore it during the day and it didn‘t come in contact with water. Of course it‘s summer and I am sweating, but if I am paying 53$ for a necklace, I expect it to last a bit longer. I also purchased a pair of earrings, sadly the clasp already broke and won‘t close anymore. It‘s really sad, bc I think the jewelry is really pretty. Unfortunately, considering the price, still a no for me. I am not rich, so I really was looking forward to investing in some good quality, regrettably I just wasted my money.
